Congratulations to Col. Matthew Schultz, B.A.S., on winning the 2010 Minnesota State Auctioneer Bid Calling Contest, and to Col. Kurt Johnson, C.A.I., B.A.S., for taking third place in one of the stiffest competitions to date.

Each of the 25 competitors sold three items before the roster was narrowed down to the top five competitors. The top five competitors were then interviewed in front of a packed ballroom at the Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center. After the final five finished their interviews, they completed the process by selling three more items. The panel of judges submitted their last marks, and the top three finalists were awarded trophies for their efforts.
